I process my world both visually and verbally, in equal parts. I have a day job at the American Philosophical Society (APS) Museum where I spend days happily thinking, looking, and writing. The rest of the time I try to make my own art work but am often too tired. I want it all. My visual blog--lots of pics, not much text--used to be called Synaesthetica, but no one could spell it. So now it's called Knitting While Sleeping, which I actually have been observed doing.

Spent the day at Loop! 4 hours swatching a damn ruffle! But, I think it's going to work out (mohair), and I've got my measurements for my sleeve.
Baby blanket is just going to have a garter border. I'm over lace for a bit.
